Cal. 44 WCF. S# 359478B. Bbl. 24" rnd., with sporting sights. Full length mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with steel crescent buttplate. Mfg. in 1890. CONDITION: 50% blue showing fading on bbl. and mag. tube, with carry wear and flaking on action. Hammer and lever show faint traces of case colors. Action has spots of pitting, with a series of small dents on forward portions of both sides of receiver. Lightly worn original wood finish shows numerous scratches, marks, and dents. Sound action. Bore is generally bright, with sound rifling, showing scattered spots of light pitting. (01-27050/DS). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
