Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 297147B. Bbl. 24" octagon, with Lyman ivory bead hunting front sight and sporting rear sight. Button mag. Blue finished bbl., with case colored action and crescent steel buttplate. Forearm and straight grip stock of nicely grained walnut. Mfg. in 1889. CONDITION: very good, retaining 70% lightly faded blue showing edge wear and handling marks, with spotted freckling. Action retains over 50% case colors, showing wear in carry areas, with spotted surface corrosion and very light pitting. Wood has added finish over scratches and marks. Sound mechanics. Lightly pitted bore retains sound rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (01-27108/DS). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
