Cal. 40-60 WCF. S# 53595. Bbl. 28" octagon. German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight with graduated leaf rear sight. Full length tubular mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer, lever, and crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock. Mfg. in 1884. CONDITION: over 60% lightly faded blue showing carry and edge wear with scratches, marks, and scattered spots of light pitting. Hammer and lever have traces of case colors. Sanded wood has gloss refinish showing scratches and marks. Sound action. Top tang is missing plug screw in forward hole. Dark lightly pitted bore with worn rifling. (01-27960/DS).
