UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum factory letter stating the following information " Type: Rifle / Caliber: 44 WCF / Barrel Type: Octagon / Barrel Weight: #3 / Barrel Length: 28 Inches / Trigger: Plain / Received in warehouse on September 24, 1891 / Shipped from warehouse on September 28, 1891." Also includes 7 pages of printed information about the Pacific Mail Steamship company & information about other guns with a Pacific Mail Steamship history. CONDITION: metal has a cleaned gray appearance showing scattered light pitting. Stock has age darkened worn finish showing scattered scratches & dents. Sound mechanics.
