SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 38-55. S# 86197. Bbl. 26" no. 2 wt. octagon. Combination front sight, filler in rear dovetail w/ tang sight. Double set triggers and standard Schuetzen lever. Blue and case colored finish. Schnabel tipped forearm with ebony insert and hard rubber capped Schuetzen style stock of "XX" fancy black walnut. Style H factory checkering and steel Swiss buttplate. Right inside of lower tang is marked with assembly no. "9057" followed by wood grade "XX" and "HS". Last two assembly numbers are visible in top tang channel of the stock. CONDITION: bbl. retains 70% dull slightly faded blue showing edge wear. Action has fading blue on receiver sides with carry areas fading to brown.
