Forend & uncapped pistol grip stock with ebony insert of fancy black walnut have style H factory checkering. Left inside of lower tang has assembly No. 187 followed by wood grade marking XX. Top tang channel of stock has matching No. 187. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Cody firearms museum letter dated December 10, 2004, signed by Waddy Colvert states "Rifle / 50/110 caliber / Barrel Shape: Octagon / Plain trigger / Checkerd stock with pistol grip / Sights: Lyman front & rear sight / Received in warehouse on January 23, 1894 / Shipped from warehouse on January 23, 1894, order number 7508". CONDITION: Nicely restored rifle. Metal retains over 97% re-blued & recase colored finish. Stock have very good refinish showing small scratches & marks. Checkering is freshened.
