Cal. rechambered, rebored & remarked to 357 Magnum. Original cal. was 32 WCF. S# 331379. Bbl. 24" round, shortened to 24 1/4". Original style sporting front sight w/ flat top sporting rear sight. Half-length takedown mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ steel shotgun buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from the Cody Firearms Museum detailing the following information, "Serial number applied on February 22, 1906 / Type: Rifle / Caliber: 32 / Barrel Type: Round / Trigger: Plain / 1/2 Magazine / Shotgun butt / Takedown / Received in warehouse on May 23, 1906 / Shipped from warehouse on May 25, 1906, Order number 54409". CONDITION: bbl. shows 60% dull fading blue. Action finish has largely faded to gray showing spots of pitting w/ heavy dents on frame & bbl. extension. Lightly refinished wood shows scratches & marks.
