Cal. 30 WCF. S# 185971. Bbl. 20". Replacement pinned blade front sight w/ Winchester express rear sight & Lyman tang sight. 2/3rds length mag. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer, lever & crescent steel buttplate. Long wood forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy walnut. Butt of stock is marked "94" over assembly number "16753". Style H factory checkering. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: records check from the Cody Firearms Records Office detailing the following information, "Serial number applied on July 01, 1903 / Type: Carbine / Caliber: 30 / Checkered stock, Pistol grip / Sights: Lyman front and rear / 3/4 Magazine / Rifle butt / Oil Finish / No sling ring / Received in warehouse on July 06, 1906 / Shipped from warehouse on September 01,1906, Order number 55406". CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain over 80% lightly faded blue. Action retains 70% blue showing carry wear on edges w/ spotted finish loss on lower tang & rear right side of frame. Lever & hammer retain small amounts of case colors. Buttplate has faded to gray. Wood has lightly worn finish & checkering showing some age darkening w/ scattered scratches & small marks.
