RIFLE. Cal. 32 WS. S# 424797. Bbl. 24" octagon to round, two inches shorter than standard. Bead sporting front sight & Lyman No.6 folding leaf rear sight w/ Lyman No.38 "Climbin' Lyman" receiver sight. Full length mag. Blue finished w/ case colored hammer, lever & buttplate. Standard 9 3/8" forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip walnut stock w/ crescent steel buttplate, Winchester sling eyes & style "I" factory checkering. Left inside of lower tang has assembly # 6056 followed by "CH". UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Cody Firearms Museum Records Check listing the following: Serial number applied on November 17, 1908 / Configuration information not available. CONDITION: 90% lightly faded original blue showing edge & carry wear. Hammer, lever & buttplate retain 70% lightly worn case colors. Wood has a light coat of added finish over light finish & checkering wear showing scattered handling marks. Bore retains lightly worn rifling. (25-735/DS). CURIO. $5500-7500.
