ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44 HRF. S# 115411. Bbl. 26" octagon w/ German silver blade rocky mountain front sight & graduated leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Brass action, forearm cap & trapdoor crescent buttplate have finely executed full coverage aftermarket engraving w/ shell highlights done in the style of Louis D. Nimschke. Sides of receiver feature shell designs surrounded by scroll, punch dot backgrounds, geometric designs & fancy borders. Complimenting engraving extends to upper & lower action areas along w/ forearm cap & peak of buttplate. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ sling swivels. S# indicates 1873 mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: four piece cleaning rod held in stock compartment. CONDITION: finely restored rifle. Bbl. & mag. tube retain over 95% reblued finish showing edge wear w/ spots of fading on mag. tube. Action & brass fittings have a finely polished bright finish.
