Action, forearm cap & crescent steel buttplate have nickel finish. Forearm & straight grip stock of fancy walnut. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Winchester Repeating Fire Arms letter & Cody Firearms Museum Records Office show search form both detail, "Rifle / 32 Caliber / Round barrel / Plain trigger / 1/2 Magazine / Nickel trim / Received in warehouse on February 14, 1885 / Shipped from the warehouse on February 14, 1885, order number 18962". CONDITION: bbl. blue has faded to a mottled brown showing small spots of corrosion. Action & fittings retain 70% nickel finish showing spots of flaking & corrosion. Refinished wood shows dents & handling marks. Bore has a darkened appearance retaining sound rifling. (01-26439/DS). ANTIQUE. $4,000-6,000.
