DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE SET. Both: Cal. 348 Win. Bbls. 24" rnd. with hooded ramp bead front sights and elevator adj. sporting rear sights. 3/4 length tubular mags. Blue finish. Actions have top tang safety. Satin finished semi-beavertail forearms and pistol grip walnut stocks with checkered steel buttplates. The Historical post-64 production Model 71 Standard and Deluxe rifles were mfg. in 2012 only by Miroku. 1) WINCHESTER MODEL 71 STANDARD. S# 01251ZZSAR. Uncheckered stocks. 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 71 DELUXE. S# 01252ZZSAR. Stock and forearm have point pattern cut checkering. Stock has steel grip cap and swivel bases. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a copy of the 2012 Winchester Repeating Arms catalog announcing the new Historical Model 71 Deluxe and Standard rifles. The Standard rifle pictured on page 26 & 27 appears to be this exact rifle. The Deluxe rifle appears to have differing grain in the stock. Also included is a framed Winchester Repeating Arms letter dated February 20, 2013 that states: "I am happy to provide information in regards to the following Winchester rifles, serial numbers 01252ZZSAR and 01251ZZSAR./ These two rifles that are found in the Winchester 2012 catalog, on pages 26-27 are the two you have in your possession.
