PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga 2 3/4". S# 1590582. Bbl. 26" plain w/ factory installed cuts compensator. Custom knurled short unchoked aluminum tube is installed. Action has full coverage engraving by master engraver Kurt Jeager of Mainz, Germany who did work for many US servicemen stationed in Germany after WWII. Right side of the receiver features a marsh scene w/ 2 flying mallards. Left side shows an upland scene w/ a pointing setter & flushing pheasant. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll w/ finely stippled backgrounds. Complimentary engraving extends to upper & lower action areas. The receiver has bright finish while the trigger guard & bbls. assembly are polished & blued. Jeweled bolt & carrier. Original beavertail checkered walnut skeet forearm. Checkered skeet stock has added white line spacer & ebony grip cap w/ white diamond inlay. LOP: shortened to 13 7/8" over an aftermarket Kurt Jaeger marked recoil pad. Mag. band & toeline of stock have sling swivels. Mfg. 1956. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: set of 4 Cut's compensator tubes consisting of .690 long range, .705, .755 & spreader tubes. All tubes appear to be new & unused in original wrapping & boxes. CONDITION: receiver has good bright finish. Bbl. assembly & trigger guard retain over 95% reblued finish. Forearm has original finish showing a few handling marks. Stock has a good satin refinish. Sound mechanics. Very good bright bore. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of a Tennessee Gentleman.
