Cal. 45-90. S# 48852. Bbl. 26" octagon with Marbles Sheard brass bead replacement front sight with graduated leaf rear sight and combination tang sight. Full length mag. Action has single set trigger. Blue and case colored finish. Forearm and pistol grip stock with ebony insert of fancy walnut with style H checkering and crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Forearm cap and toeline of stock has sling swivels. Left inside of the lower tang is mnarked with assembly # "285" followed by wood grade marking "XX" & the letter"O" laying on it's side. 1890 mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: 4-piece cleaning rod held in the butt compartment. CONDITION: Bbl. & mag. tube retain 80% lightly worn blue showing edge wear. Action & fittings have 30" dull fading case colors showing spots of corrosion. Sanded & refinished wood shows handling marks with slightly weakened chcekering. The stock is cracked & repaired in the wrist area with an added wood repair left of the top tang. Sound action with properly functioning set trigger.
