LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 33 WCF. S# 158461. Bbl. 24" tapered rnd. Ramp mounted brass bead replacement front sight, with Lyman No. 6 folding leaf rear sight, and "Climbin-Lyman" receiver sight. Half length takedown mag. Blue finish. Forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of XXX fancy black walnut with style H hand checkering and hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Left inside of lower tang is marked with assembly # "1" plus wood grade marking "XXX". Top tang channel of stock is not marked. Mfg. in 1920. CONDITION: bbl. and action retain 70% lightly dulled reblued finish, showing carry wear. Wood has good gloss refinish, with lightly freshened checkering. Sound action. Tang screw shows screwdriver distortion. Very good bright bore. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1845/DS). CURIO. $2,500-4,000.
