ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 33 WCF. S# 147821. Bbl. 24" tapered rnd. Ramp mounted Lyman No. 4 ivory bead hunting front sight, filler in rear dovetail, with "Climbin-Lyman" receiver sight. Half length takedown mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Mfg. in 1909. CONDITION: over 95% bbl. and mag. tube blue. Action retains 60% original blue, flaking to brown/gray in carry areas. Hammer and lever retain traces of case colors. Original wood finish shows scattered light scratches and marks. Mechanically fine. Bright bore retains strong rifling. (25-1757/DS). CURIO. $3,000-4,500.
