Cal. 12 GA, 2 5/8". S# 8017. Bbl. 30" plain with steel bead sight. Half length tubular mag. Case colored action. 2-panel walnut forearm and rnd. knob stock with checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Mfg. in 1888, second year of production. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: handwritten index card showing shipping information supplied by Cody Firearms Museum indicating warehouse receipt and date shipped as 1/26/88. CONDITION: bbl. and mag. tube have over 70% lightly faded blue. Action retains light but pleasing visible case colors on the left side and breechblock. The right side has largely faded to gray and shows small dark spots. Wood finish shows wear with numerous scratches, dents, and marks. Sound mechanics.
