CARBINE. Cal. 25-20 WCF. S# 808263. Bbl. 20" rnd. Pinned blade front sight, with graduated leaf carbine rear sight. 3/4 length tubular mag. Blue finish. Left side of action has staple attached saddle ring. Band fastened walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Mfg. in 1916. CONDITION: 30% dull blue, with balance fading to gray, showing some very light pitting. Slightly undersized sanded and refinished wood shows scratches and marks. Sound action. Bore has slightly darkened appearance, with worn rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1841/DS). CURIO. $800-1,200.
