RING CARBINE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). S# 845819. Bbl. 16" rnd. Pinned blade front sight with graduated leaf carbine rear sight. Full length tubular mag. Forearm is shorter than standard measuring 7 7/8". Action has saddle ring on left side. Blue finish with polished hammer sides. Gumwood forearm and straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate. Mfg. in 1917. CONDITION: bbl., mag. tube, and lever retain 80% lightly faded blue with evidence of some touch up. Action finish has faded to gray showing scattered spots of very light pitting. Sanded and refinished wood shows scratches and marks. Sound action. Bore is generally bright with good rifling showing small spots of very light pitting.
