Blue finish with case colored hammer, lever and crescent steel buttplate. Forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of XX fancy walnut have style H checkering. Left inside of the lower tang is stamped with assembly # "15846" followed by wood grade "XX". Top tang channel of the stock is unmarked. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter stating: Type: Rifle / Caliber: 30 / Barrel Type: Round / Trigger: Plain / Checkered stock, Pistol grip / Takedown / Received in warehouse on January 27, 1903 / Shipped from warehouse on January 28, 1903, Order number 125996 / Repair and Return on November 02, 1903, Order number 210907". CONDITION: fine, retaining 90% lightly worn blue showing carry wear with scattered light scratches. Lever has nicely visible case colors remaining on its sides.
