RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). S# 89263. Bbl. 26" octagon with Lyman ivory bead replacement front sight, full buckhorn elevator adj. rear sight, and Lyman combination tang sight. Full length takedown mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer and lever. Rifle forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy walnut with style H hand checkering. Inside of the lower tang is marked with assembly # "10376" followed by wood grade marking "XX" and additional markings include "OHRB". Top tang channel of stock has matching assembly # "10376" followed by model marking "94". Mfg. in 1897. LOP: altered to 13 1/4" over a replacement grooved hard rubber buttplate and 1/8" spacer. CONDITION: bbl. and mag. tube retain 80% lightly worn blue showing carry wear. Action has 60% fading blue showing carry and edge wear with spotted corrosion. Hammer and lever retain faint traces of case colors. Sanded wood has a good refinish with freshened checkering. Replacement buttplate shows small chips. Sound mechanics.
