Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). S# 340161. Bbl. 26" octagon. Marbles Sheard replacement front sight with Marbles elevator adj. replacement sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer and lever. Top tang has filler screw and added hole for sight attachment. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1906. CONDITION: bbl. and mag. tube retain over 60% dull lightly worn blue showing edge wear with spots of pitting. Action retains 40% dull worn blue with carry wear showing scratches and small spots of light pitting. Sanded and refinished wood show some remaining scratches and marks. Sound action. Bore has slightly darkened appearance retaining sound rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1837/DS). CURIO. $700-1,100.
