Cal. 32-40. S# 69300. Bbl. 22" half-octagon w/ sporting sights. Button magazine. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer & lever. Plain walnut forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock w/ hard rubber buttplate. Stock & forearm have added custom borderless hand checkering w/ spade highlights. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: included is a Cody Firearms Museum Records Office Show Search Form detailing the following information, "Serial Number Applied: 9/28/1899 / Date In: 10/7/1899 / Rifle / Cal. 32-40 / Bbl. Shape: 1/2 octagon / Length: 22" / Trigger: Plain / Stock: Plain, pistol grip / Magazine: 1/2 / Butt: Shotgun-rubber / Date Shipped: 10/7/1899 / Order #: 38764". CONDITION: receiver has blue-gray coloration indicating touch-up finish. Hammer & lever show small amounts of case colors. Lightly refinished wood shows scratches & marks retaining very good checkering. Right side of buttplate is chipped above toe. Sound action.
