SELF-LOADING RIFLE. Cal. 351 SL. S# 30267. Winchester Model 1907 rifle altered by Bull Creek Arms of Hayden, ID. Recreation of the custom rifles built in the 1920s and 1930s by Texas gunsmith Hyman Lebman. His rifles were known to be used by the likes of John Dillinger and other gangsters of that era. Bbl. shortened to 20 3/4" over a 5" Lebman style muzzle compensator. Brass bead front sight with original style sporting rear sight. Replacement forearm with brown Duracoat finish supporting a Thompson submachine gun style foregrip. Original walnut buttstock with hard rubber buttplate. MAGS: 1 aftermarket 10-rd. CONDITION: metal retains over 98% reblued finish. Bbl. shows a slightly plum cast. Original stock has an old refinish showing numerous scratches and marks. Action appears sound. Bore has a lightly frosted appearance showing strong rifling. (25-2164/DS). MODERN. $800-1,200.
