Cal. 351 (.351 Winchester Self-Loading). S# 26132. Bbl. 20". Model 1907 self-loading rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1911. Top fo the bbl. is marked with Winchester's 3-line mfg. and patent information, followed by "-351 CAL.-". Upper receiver tang is marked with the model designation. Sanded and refinished plain wood forearm and pistol grip buttstock with checkered black hard rubber buttplate. Dovetailed Lyman natural white beaded blade front sight (bead mostly broken off) with standard dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Left side of receiver is drilled and tapped with 3 holes. Upper receiver tang is drilled and tapped with 2 plug screws. MAGS: x1 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components have been heavily cleaned, with the receiver exhibiting scattered scratches and areas of striations from prior cleaning, as well as patches and areas of light to mild pitting. Bbl. retains fair bluing, exhibiting scratches, spots and patches of age related discoloration, as well as striations from cleaning. Dark bore, exhibiting consistent moderate pitting and retaining trace rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Forearm is good, exhibiting some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage. Buttstock exhibits some scattered handling marks, with 3 cracks on top of the wrist and 3 cracks on the underside of the wrist, all stemming from the receiver or receiver tang.
