Cal. 16 GA, 2 3/4". NSN. Bbl. 28". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. The left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations, the Winchester trademark logo, and "CHOKE", with "2 3/4 CHAM." marked towards the breech. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with Winchester checkered black synthetic buttplate, and plain wood forend. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light to mild wear and thinning, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks and spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman.
