Cal. 20 GA, 2 3/4". NSN. Bbl. 28". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. The left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model designation, above the cal. designation, "CHOKE", and "2 3/4 CHAM.". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with Winchester trademark logo checkered black synthetic buttplate, and plain wood forend. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks and spots of light to mild surface oxidation. Right side of the bbl. lever appears to have been touched up at one time. Mirror bore. Wood furniture shows some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1909/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
