Cal. 20 GA, 2 3/4". NSN. Bbl. 28". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations, "FULL", and the Winchester trademark logo, with " 2 3/4" marked towards the breech. Underside of the receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with Winchester red rubber recoil pad, and plain wood forend. Buttstock and forend have been sanded and revarnished at one time. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts to the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patinas, and scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few areas of mild pitting. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
