SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S#12756. Bbl. 28". Model 59 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1960-1965. Left side of the bbl. is marked "WIN-LITE", followed by "12 GA. - 2 3/4 CHAM." above "FULL". Left side of the receiver is engraved with a scene of a hunting dog and a pheasant, with the right side exhibiting a scene of 3 duck. Right side of the receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark logo above the model and cal. designations. Aluminum receiver exhibits a black anodized finish, with the aluminum trigger guard being in-the-white. Steel bbl. features a black fiber glass wrapping. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock and forend appear to have been lightly sanded and revarnished, with the checkering appearing to have been recut. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some areas of mild surface oxidation. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a small chip present on the toe of the buttstock. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1920/MLW).
