Cal. 22 LR. S# 93372. Bbl. 23". Model 63 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1950. The left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt and plunger bar, which are polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock and forend have been lightly sanded and revarnished at one time. Dovetailed aluminum beaded blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the upper and lower assemblies. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light surface oxidation overall, with an area of wear and thinning showing through to gray and brown patinas present on the underside of the receiver and lower assembly. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, with a few notable dings present on the left side of the forend. (25-2042/MLW). CURIO. $600-900.
