ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 250-3000 SAV. S# 68888. Bbl. 24" of proof steel. Bottom of bbl. has "25-3.S" chambering stamp w/ "32" date mark. Hooded ramp bead front sight & sporting rear sight. Lyman Alaskan scope w/ dot reticle on Redfield mounts. Transition style action w/ cloverleaf tang & transition type safety. Bottom of bolt is numbered to rifle. Extractor, ejector, bolt stop, mag. box & follower are all correct. Floorplate is stamped "SUPER GRADE". Straight comb Super Grade walnut stock. Features include small oval cheekpiece, checkered steel buttplate, hard rubber grip cap, black forearm tip, Super Grade sling swivels & Super Grade checkering. S# indicates 1947 manufacture. CONDITION: bbl. & action retain over 95% blue showing muzzle & edge wear w/ small spots of finish loss. Stock has lightly worn original finish showing a few small scratches & handling marks. Very good bright bore. Scope has clear optics. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1938/DS). CURIO. $3,000-5,000.
