Cal. 22 LR. S# 81301. Bbl. 28 1/4". Model 75 bolt action target rifle, mfg. by Winchester in 1952. Left side of the bbl. exhibits markings stipulating Winchester's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations, followed by the Winchester trademark logo. Left side of the receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, with the S# marked on the right side of the chamber. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with flat checkered steel buttplate. Receiver is mounted with a Weaver Marksman 4x scope. Front and rear iron sights are absent. Front sight base screws are absent. Mag. has been replaced with a solid block of metal, making the rifle a single shot. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild wear (primarily on the bolt knob and handle), with some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, as well as scattered spots of flaking to the varnish, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
