Cal. 22 LR. S# 85835. Bbl. 28". Model 75 bolt action target rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1956. The left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations, as well as the Winchester trademark logo. Left side of the receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark, with the S# marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip target stock, with blued steel hand stop rail and flat checkered steel buttplate. Globe front sight, with Redfield adj. aperture rear sight. Rifle is mounted with a period brown leather sling. MAGS: 1 5-rd. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks, with some spots of light pitting and light to mild surface oxidation present on the underside of the bbl. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows some scattered superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but is otherwise very good overall. Leather sling remains malleable, exhibiting consistent wear, with scattered areas of light age related cracking and crazing present overall. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1848/MLW).
