CARBINE. Cal. 32 WS. S# 1714513. Bbl. 20" rnd. Hooded ramp bead front sight with sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Action has 75% coverage of custom engraving. Right side features a circular vignette of a bull moose. Left side vignette features a mule deer buck. Scenes are surrounded by relief cut foliate scroll with punch dot backgrounds and fancy borders that continue to upper and lower receiver areas as well as the breechblock, lever, and breech section of bbl. Long wood band fastened walnut forearm and straight grip stock with checkered steel buttplate having custom point pattern hand checkering. Mfg. in 1950. CONDITION: metal retains 90% brightly polished reblued finish showing slight carry and edge wear. Sanded and refinished stocks shows scattered light scratches and marks and retaining very good checkering. Sound action. Bore is generally bright with strong rifling.
