LEVER ACTION CARBINE WITH MATCHING FACTORY INSERT & SLEEVE. Cal. 30-30. S# WFC06570. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester commemorating Wells Fargo's 125th anniversary. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations above Winchester's mfg. information, with "Wells Fargo & Co. 1852-1977" marked on the right. Sides of receiver exhibit scroll engraving, with the left side exhibiting a scene of a stagecoach and the right being engraved "W.F.&CO." above "1852," followed by a scene of a Wells Fargo storefront, and "1977." Receiver exhibits a silver washed finish, with remaining components including the bolt, hammer, lever, saddle ring, bbl., mag. tube, bbl. bands, and buttplate exhibiting a blue finish overall. Checkered wood straight grip buttstock with Wells Fargo commemorative coin, and checkered wood forend. Blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory styrofoam insert with a cardboard sleeve. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall, with the receiver exhibiting some spots of age-related tarnishing overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is excellent overall. Cardboard sleeve shows some light to mild exterior wear from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-3557/MLW). MODERN. $500-800.
