MARK" & "THE UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO". 24" x 17" central diamond shaped illustration depicting three bugling bull elk, three deer, in lush terrain overprinted with large "U.M.C." overprint. Backing board with text is clean with crisp text, all attached bullets near perfect, with very light corrosion to just a few. Surviving boards show considerable light fading, this board still has all of its bright colors and it would be difficult to upgrade. CONDITION: fine, among the very best, minor staining to right lower quadrant of board, minor chips to external gesso panels, interior silver painted gesso liner is fine. PROVENANCE: Stagecoach Museum collection. Formerly from the collection of Steve Farfaro. (02-23055/JS). NON-GUN. $25,000-35,000.
