REVOLVER. Cal. 455 MKII (455 Webley). S# 3737. Bbl. 6 1/2". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on grip frame, cyl., extractor & bbl. Parts have various British proofs & stamps. Blued finish with c ase colored trigger & hammer. Checkered walnut grips that appear unnumbered with silver S&W medallions. Lanyard ring present on bottom of grip frame. CONDITION: grips show notable checkering wear with flattened spots, some dings & handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain strong amounts of their case colors with overall fading to gray, some oxidation & operational wear. Balance of metal retains 50% blue with overall fading to gray, some scattered pitting mostly on grip frame, edge wear & oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good + bright bore.
