Cal. 303 Brit. S# U35044. Bbl. 25 1/2". WW2 BSA made No. 4 Mk. (T) sniper rifle. Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight. Rifle is properly equipped with a No 32 Mk3 scope made by Cooke, Troughton, and Simms. Scope has post reticle & optics show a green tint. 1945 dated BLG Co. leather scope cover present. Scope mount is stamped numbered matching to socket. Socket properly marked "TR" & left side of receiver marked "T". Scope rings numbered "569E" & "570E". Socket has 1945 date, serial number, "M47C" & "ENGLAND" markings. Left side of receiver has "BNP" proof. Matching numbers on socket, bolt & forend. Black Suncorite finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & US M1907 style sling. Butt stock has cis marked "S51" on bottom & "19746" on top. CONDITION: stock set shows scattered dings & handling wear. Scope tube shows scattered oxidation. Balance of metal retains 85% arsenal rework suncorite finish with scattered light flaking. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
