Cal. 303 Brit. S# H5926. Bbl. 20 1/2". with Century import marking & flash hider. Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 800yds. Matching numbers on forend & receiver. Other parts are unnumbered or mismatched with bolt being an earlier type with added cutout in knob. Jungle Carbine has correct lighting cuts. Left side of receiver has No. 5 ROF Fazakerley markings with 3/45 date. Suncorite finish. Hardwood stock set. Forend has transverse Indian style screw & right side of butt has Ishapore roundel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unknown white canvas belt. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with a couple gouges, scattered dings & handling marks. Cocking piece appears to be missing a screw. Metal shows overall thinning to gray with some pitting on band, traces of Suncorite, edge wear & light oxidation.
