Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 91489. Bbl. 4 3/4". Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on slide, firing pin extension, cocking piece, bolt & both grip panels. Firing pin appears unnumbered. Right rear of slide has Nagoya & first series markings with serial number. Right rear of frame has "18.9" Showa date for September, 1943. Blued finish. Grooved Asian hardwood grips. MAGS: 2-8 rd. One mag is mismatched & other matching. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: rubberized canvas clamshell holster that is numbered to a different pistol with broken retention strap. CONDITION: grips show a few dings & scattered handling marks. Metal shows overall peppery oxidation & areas turning gray with strong amounts of blue. Action is sluggish but functional when hand cycled. Very good bore with scattered dried grease. (24-6997/MJC). CURIO. $600-900.
