Cal. 303 Brit. S# 76L1961. Bbl. 25 1/5". Blade front sight with protective ears. MKII ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 1300yds. Matching numbers on left side of socket, forend & bolt with numbers appearing force matched. Left side of receiver has Long Branch & No. 4 MKI* markings with 1944 date. Arsenal rework blued finish. Left side of rear band has added hole. Hardwood stock with Indian style transverse forend screw, bottom mounted sling swivels with 1945 dated MeCo canvas sling. Right side of butt has "FR" rebuild marking. MAGS: 1-10 rd. unnumbered. CONDITION: stock set appears lightly refinished with some areas of added finish, some dings & handling marks. Metal retains 30% arsenal rework blue with overall fading to gray, some edge wear, finish overrun & oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling.
