Cal. 303 Brit. S# 0C28891. Bbl. 25 1/2". Blade front sight with protective ears, one of which is bent slightly. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1300yds. Matching numbers on socket & bolt handle. Other visible parts are unnumbered. Left side of receiver has standard No. 4 MKI* & US property markings. Flaming bomb marking also present. Receiver ring has "ENGLAND" import marking. Metal has a mix of arsenal blue & phosphate finishes. Beech stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Butt has faint painted rack markings. MAGS 1-10 rd. CONDITION: stock set has a large armorer repair at heel that shows some chipping, a couple other smaller chips, scattered dings, a couple small gouges & some handling marks. Metal retains perhaps 30% varied arsenal finishes with overall fading to gray, scattered oxidation, edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore with strong rifling. (23-1360/MJC). CURIO. $300-500.
