Cal. 30-06. S# 3671251. Bbl. 24" marked "SC (Flaming bomb) & 4-43. Aperture rear sight graduated to 800yds. Blade front sight w/ USGI sight hood. Top of bolt handle is marked "X". Trigger guard is of Smith Corona mfg. Mag cutoff & front band are of Remington mfg. Walnut stock set w/ "RRA" rebuild marking on left side & boxed "P" firing proof on bottom of wrist. No other visible stock markings. Bottom mounted sling swivels. CONDITION: middle of handguard shows some scarring from improper rear band removal, stock otherwise shows some scattered dings & handling wear. Rear band retains 95% arsenal blue. Balance of metal retains 90% arsenal parkerized finish w/ some silvering, light fading & handling wear. Very good bright bore. PROVENANCE: From the estate collection of Thomas J. Mulligan.
