Correct features include 5" Type 4 barrel, Type 1 double diamond checkered walnut grips, Type C hammer, Type A slide lock, Type 1 Mainspring housing, Type 2 Mainspring housing pin, Type C mag. release lock, Type B recoil spring guide, Type A front sight & Type B rear sight. Pistol has "H" provisional marks & "JMG" inspector cartouche. MAGS: 2 WWII 7 rd.: 1 Ridson for Colt & 1 General Shave Div. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case containing National Match barrel bushing draw # 7267718, 5" barrel draw # 7790313, spring & recoil spring guide. WWI era pistol rig including USMC Philadelphia Depot holster, MIller-Hexter 1917 canteen carrier, Sept. 1918 Russell dbl. mag. pouch & RIA 1918 pouch. Belt in good condition showing 1 area of fraying & staining, other accessories good showing wear & flexing. REFERENCE: An example of holster is illustrated in "Equipping the Corps" by Alex S. Tulkoff, pg. 204. CONDITION: pistol has dull blue refinish showing areas of prior pitting, cycling wear & scattered spots of finish loss. General Shaver mag. refinished & other mag. good w/ wear.
