1) 3 MEDAL BAR. A 3 award medal bar consisting of a WWI Iron Cross 2nd class, a Marine Corps Cross, and a For the Fatherland Commemorative Medal with 5 bars.
2) 3 MEDAL BAR. A 3 award medal bar consisting of a WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class, a Bavarian War Merit Cross with crown & swords, and a 1914-18 Cross with swords.
3) 2 MEDAL BAR. A 2 award medal bar consisting of a WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class and a 1914-18 Cross with swords.
4) 3 MEDAL BAR. A 3 award medal bar consisting of a Wurttemberg Medal for Merit, a 1914-18 Cross with swords, and a Prussian Officer’s 25-Year Service Cross.
5) 4 MEDAL BAR. A 4 award medal bar consisting of a WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class, a Wurttemberg Medal for Merit, a 1914-18 Cross with swords, and a Reserve/Landwehr Service Medal.
6) 1 MEDAL BAR. A 1 award medal bar consisting of a 1914-18 Cross with swords.
7) MEDAL. A Bavarian Officer’s War Service Cross with swords in silver. Center has black & white enamel and ribbon is present. Medal is housed in original box of issue that reads “Bayr. M. V. Kr. 3. Kl. m. d. Kr.”.
8) GALLIPOLI. A nice example of a Gallipoli Star in clear red enamel. Riveted construction with a wide pin that is marked “GODET”. Star is housed in its original red leatherette box with gold embossed Turkish writing on the inside with a crescent and star. CONDITION: all medals show light wear. Some ribbons have minor soiling or fading. Boxes show light wear. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of Glen E. Mattox. (02-18908-3/BF). $1,200-1,600.
