1) A model 1918 German steel helmet with a fine camouflage painted motif. Colors include green, brown, and mustard with black borders. Interestingly, this example has a neatly painted black and white Prussian shield on the left side. The inside left is stamped "B.F. 64", and there is a 3-pad white liner with a leather chinstrap and a plastic chin cup. CONDITION: painted finish is about 90% and the liner shows light wear. 2) Prussian brass front plate for a WWI era spike helmet. CONDITION: plate is complete but the attachment loops have been removed from the reverse and a small dowel has been glued to the back. (02-24221/BF). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
