Cal. 8mm Steyr. S# 4565. Bbl. 5 1/8". Blade front sight. V-notch rear sight. WWI-era Austro-Hungarian semi-auto pistol that takes stripper clips. Top of the bbl. has FEG markings. Rear of frame has "Wn (Austrian eagle) 12" acceptance stamp denoting 1912 acceptance. Blued finish. Grooved hardwood grips. Right grip has a disc with unit marking that reads "20 JB/26". CONDITION: grips have an older added varnish with some dings and scattered handling marks. Metal is mostly a dull gray color with some notable dings on the left side of the frame and scattered traces of blue, oxidation, and pitting. Bore shows scattered frosting and light pitting but strong rifling. (24-2334/MJC). CURIO. $400-600.
