Cal. 38/200. S# 88208. Bbl. 5". Round blade front sight. Square notch rear sight. Matching numbers on the frame, bbl., and cyl. WWII 'war finish' British Webley revolver. Right side of the bbl. has British sale proofs; other parts have various British inspection stamps. A couple of small parts have a Suncorite finish, but the balance of the metal has a wartime blue finish. Checkered black Webley grips. Lanyard ring present on bottom of grip frame. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: aftermarket black hard case. CONDITION: grips show some heavy checkering wear, a couple of chips, scattered dings, and handling marks. Metal retains 70% of its 'war finish,' and Suncorite, with a factory flaw ding on the front of the bbl., fading to gray on the grip straps, scattered edge wear, light oxidation, edge wear, and some dings. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Bright, near-excellent bore. (24-6820/MJC). CURIO. $300-400.
