1) COMMANDO. A Fairbairn Sykes commando knife and sheath measuring 13" overall with a 6 5/8" blade. The blade is etched with a ribbon and the name "D.S. KENNEDY". There are etched marks near the hilt that read "THE F-S FIGHTING KNIFE" on one side and "WILKINSON SWORD CO LTD LONDON." on the opposite side. The blued guard is unmarked, and the bronze hilt has a ribbed grip. The pommel has an iron capstan. The brown leather sheath has an integral brown leather belt tab and a blued brass tip. CONDITION: the blade shows expected wear but has no damage or offensive sharpening. Hilt shows light overall wear. Sheath has a few scuffs but remains solid. 2) US NAVY. A US Navy Mark 1 fighting knife measuring 10 1/8" overall with a 5" blade. The blade is marked on the ricasso "U.S.N." and "CAMILLUS N.Y." Iron guard with stacked leather washer grip and a unique Camillus black plastic butt. Leather sheath with the name "DON PENLAND" cut into the leather. CONDITION: blade shows significant use and retains only a portion of the blackened finish. Hilt shows light wear, and the pommel cap is a tiny bit loose. Sheath shows expected wear.
