Overall length: 38 1/2". Blade length: 32 1/4". Blade has a single medium fuller and is stamped near the hilt “ROBERT KLASS (storks) SOLINGEN”. Gilded brass hilt with eagle & party symbol languet on the front. The knuckle bow and backstrap are decorated with oak leaves & acorns. Lion head pommel with red eyes. Wire-wrapped black composite grip. There is a silver bullion and a green cloth knot tied to the hilt. Black lacquered iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray patina with scattered spotting. Hilt is heavily tarnished with traces of original gilding. Grip is undamaged. Knots show light wear. Scabbard retains 65% of the original finish, but the suspension ring & loop are missing.
